Dry Cleaning Experts In Dublin City Center
Established on Abbeys St in 1944.
New York Cleaners was established in 1944 by two brothers, Harry and Myer Singer, who first traveled to America to buy dry cleaning equipment. There they purchased a complete plant, including a piece called a ‘New Yorker’ which was a pressing machine. This inspired the trade name New York Dry Cleaners.
Over the years the business has passed through several generations, but the ethos has remained the same: quality skilled service delivered with a smile and individual attention given to all garments.
The business had to move one door down on Abbeys St. in Dublin as a fire destroyed the original premises. So like the Phoenix rising from the ashes New York Cleaners reopened with a brand new shop where they continue to offer high quality laundry, dry cleaning and key cutting services.
